Al Ain Lake
These photos were taken on 25 Nov’11…
This is a place in Al Ain which is not explored by many and not known… I saw one photo of this place in one of the photography competition and then was briefly mentioned in Gulf News… Did some research and found the place on Google Earth; noted the co-ordinates; entered them on the GPS; chalked out a route and then READY TO VENTURE OUT….
Left home along with one more photo enthusiast at 2.30 am on Friday when many of the others were fast asleep… Reached the location at 4:30 am; waited for some light to come while utilizing the time to take some night shots (it was cold - temperature was 13°/14° C)… Once the light came out ventured into the desert about 1 km; took some shots with the background of Jebel Hafeet; and left the place at about 8 am to reach home at 10 am…
Have to visit this place again for the sun set time when the Jabel Hafeet mountains will be fully lit up…
